When the plant lights flip on at 6:00 AM, you're already walking the floor---checking the overnight logs, prioritizing work orders, and confirming that planned preventive maintenance aligns with the production schedule. By mid-morning, you're hands-on with the team, troubleshooting an HVAC alarm on one line while coordinating a hydraulic repair on another. After lunch, you're reviewing contractor bids for a renovation, updating equipment histories, and coaching a technician through proper Lockout/Tagout. You close the day by validating parts inventory levels, aligning Friday coverage with the other Maintenance Supervisor, and logging cost data for month-end reporting.

### Schedule & Employment

* Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* Friday: As needed, with scheduling coordinated between Maintenance Supervisors
* Employment Type: Full-Time

### What you'll own

* Lead daily plant maintenance activities and direct maintenance personnel
* Plan, schedule, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance work
* Work alongside technicians to troubleshoot and complete maintenance tasks
* Maintain production equipment and mechanical systems to support operations
* Diagnose and resolve issues across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, structural, and hydraulic systems
* Evaluate equipment/facility problems and coordinate required repairs or upgrades
* Partner with production to schedule maintenance shutdowns that minimize downtime
* Oversee major repairs, facility upgrades, and renovation initiatives
* Coordinate outside contractors, review bids, and monitor quality, timelines, and deliverables
* Estimate job costs; requisition materials, parts, and supplies
* Manage spare parts and maintenance inventory
* Track and report maintenance-related expenditures
* Maintain work orders, maintenance logs, inspection reports, equipment histories, and regulatory documentation
* Ensure compliance with building codes and workplace safety standards
* Enforce safe work practices, including proper Lockout/Tagout procedures
* Drive continuous improvement in equipment reliability, maintenance processes, and overall plant performance
* Train, coach, and develop maintenance team members
* Perform other maintenance and facility duties as assigned by management

### What you'll bring

* 7 years of manufacturing maintenance experience
* Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
* Hands-on technical and mechanical aptitude
* Experience maintaining production equipment and facility systems
* Expertise spanning HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, structural, and hydraulic systems
* Background with preventive and corrective maintenance programs
* Ability to diagnose problems and determine appropriate corrective actions
* Solid understanding of workplace safety and OSHA practices
* Proven ability to lead, motivate, train, and develop employees
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills; professional with shop teams, office staff, leadership, contractors, and customers
* Basic computer proficiency
* Self-motivated; able to prioritize maintenance needs in a fast-paced manufacturing setting

### Certifications & Safety Requirements

* OSHA General Industry training
* Appropriate Lockout/Tagout certification required when performing applicable work
* Forklift operators must be trained and certified per company requirements

### Work environment & physical demands

You'll work throughout an active manufacturing facility, around production machinery, and will perform hands-on maintenance as needed. The role involves standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and other physical activities typical of industrial maintenance and facility operations.

* Long-sleeve shirt

Winter footwear without steel toes or metatarsal protection may only be permitted when working outside during winter conditions in accordance with company policy.
