A company in the Phoenix area is looking for a Construction Superintendent to join their team, specifically for **Tenant Improvement (TI) projects**. As Superintendent, you'll be the boots-on-the-ground leader overseeing daily site operations, managing field staff and subcontractors, enforcing safety and quality standards, and ensuring the project stays on schedule.
**Responsibilities**
* Manage all on-site construction activities from start to finish
* Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and laborers
* Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company procedures Maintain and update project schedules in coordination with the Project Manager
* Conduct daily jobsite meetings and safety briefings Inspect work for quality assurance and adherence to plans/specs
* Collaborate with Project Managers, Architects, and Engineers to resolve field issues
* Maintain detailed site logs and project documentation
* Represent the company professionally with owners, inspectors, and third parties
**REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects
* **Proven experience with restaurant builds**
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Deep understanding of construction means, methods, and safety practices
* Proficiency in field documentation, scheduling, and site coordination
* Familiarity with project management and scheduling software (Procore, MS Project, etc.)
* OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain)
