Responsibilities
- Plan and provide total patient care through the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs
- Direct and guide patient teaching and activities of ancillary personnel

- Monitor patient status, administer medications and therapies as prescribed, and document care accordingly
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and discharge planning
- Adapt care delivery to ER acuity and patient volume while following facility policies
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Iowa RN license
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required
- ER nursing experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work three 12-hour day shifts per week in a rural ER setting as part of a travel assignment
