As the company continues to expand throughout Southern California, they are seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent to oversee ground-up and renovation projects throughout the Inland Empire and North San Diego County.

**About the Position**

The Commercial Superintendent is responsible for managing all field operations from project start through completion. This individual will lead on-site construction activities, coordinate subcontractors, maintain project schedules, enforce safety standards, and ensure projects are completed with the highest level of quality, on time, and within budget.

Projects may include:

* K-12 and higher education facilities
* Retail developments
* Office buildings
* Commercial tenant improvements
* Municipal and public facilities
* Other commercial construction projects

**Key Responsibilities**

* Manage day-to-day jobsite operations for commercial construction projects.
* Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
* Develop and maintain project schedules while driving milestone completion.
* Conduct daily jobsite meetings and coordinate workflow among all trades.
* Ensure strict compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
* Perform quality control inspections to ensure work meets project specifications.
* Identify and resolve field issues proactively to minimize project delays.
* Coordinate inspections with local jurisdictions and project stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate daily reports, schedules, and project documentation.
* Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, architects, and owners throughout the project lifecycle.
* Foster positive relationships with clients while maintaining a professional jobsite environment.

**Requirements**

* 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent managing commercial construction projects.
* Experience leading projects in one or more of the following sectors:

* Education

* Retail

* Office

* Commercial renovations

* Ground-up commercial construction
* Strong knowledge of commercial building methods, scheduling, sequencing, and quality control.
* Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practices.
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
