J&S Construction is seeking a relationship-driven **Business Development Representative** to help drive the company's continued growth throughout Middle Tennessee and the Upper Cumberland.

As a fourth-generation, family-owned commercial contractor with nearly 100 years of history, J&S has built its reputation on integrity, quality, and long-term client relationships. We're looking for someone who enjoys building partnerships and creating opportunities---not simply selling projects.

What You'll Do

* Build relationships with owners, developers, architects, engineers, brokers, municipalities, and strategic partners
* Identify and pursue new commercial construction opportunities
* Represent J&S at networking events, client meetings, and industry functions
* Collaborate with executive leadership, estimating, preconstruction, and operations throughout the pursuit process
* Assist with proposals, presentations, RFQs/RFPs, and client communications
* Manage CRM activity and maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline
* Generate both new business and repeat business through long-term relationship development

What We're Looking For

* 5 years of experience in business development, project management, construction, client relations, or outside sales
* Commercial construction experience strongly preferred
* Experience with a General Contractor, Construction Manager, Developer, Engineering or Architecture firm, or related industry
* Strong networking, communication, and relationship-building skills
* Self-motivated with a high level of integrity and professionalism
* CRM experience is a plus
* Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
