**Position Overview**
We are seeking an experienced **Senior Civil Project Manager** to lead and manage private land development projects from planning through construction and project closeout. This role is responsible for overseeing project schedules, budgets, client relationships, regulatory approvals, and multidisciplinary engineering teams while ensuring successful project delivery.
This position also offers a clear leadership path toward future office management responsibilities.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Lead private land development projects from planning through final completion.
* Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and overall project performance.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong client relationships.
* Coordinate with local municipalities and regulatory agencies to obtain project approvals.
* Collaborate with internal engineering and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
* Monitor project financial performance and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members.
* Support business growth and contribute to future office leadership initiatives.
**Required Qualifications**
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
* **Active California Professional Engineer (PE) License (Required).**
* **10+ years** of Civil Engineering Project Management experience.
* Proven experience managing **Private Land Development** projects.
* Strong knowledge of project budgeting, scheduling, and client management.
* Experience coordinating with municipalities and regulatory agencies.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with **AutoCAD Civil 3D**.
* Strong leadership skills with interest in future office management responsibilities.
