**Assistant Project Manager -- Commercial Construction**

I'm currently working with a well-established commercial general contractor that's looking to add an **Assistant Project Manager** to its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on their construction management experience and progress into a Project Manager role with a company that promotes from within.
You'll work alongside experienced Project Managers, gaining exposure to every stage of the construction lifecycle while taking ownership of key project coordination responsibilities.
What You'll Be Doing
* Support Project Managers through all phases of commercial construction projects
* Coordinate RFIs, submittals, drawings, and project documentation
* Work closely with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and design professionals
* Attend project meetings and maintain accurate meeting minutes
* Track contracts, insurance certificates, and compliance documentation
* Assist with project closeout, punch lists, and turnover documentation
* Help keep projects on schedule through effective communication and organization
What We're Looking For
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent construction experience
* Internship or experience with a commercial general contractor preferred
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (construction software experience is a plus)
* Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a commercial construction environment
* Valid driver's license required
* OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 is a plus
