**Scope**
The Facilities Engineer / Specialist III will provide brownfield facilities engineering, operational support, and surveillance for existing assets.
Key responsibilities include:
* Lead individual small projects through completion.
* Debottleneck facilities and production batteries to accommodate new production volumes.
* Resolve potential safety and risk hazards through engineering actions.
* Minimize existing-asset downtime and optimize production.
* Participate in area risk assessments, HAZOPs, hazard hunts, and Critical Operating Parameter reviews.
* Lead incident investigations involving downtime and process-safety events.
* Support opportunity management, including identifying opportunities and developing project scopes of work.
* Conduct risk assessments for new facility projects and existing facilities.
* Drive closure of risk-mitigation action items.
* Lead performance testing and plant-based trials.
* Develop operating guidelines for facilities.
* Coach and mentor junior colleagues.
**Skills and Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or another related engineering discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
* Extensive knowledge of engineering design standards, specifications, codes, and applicable safety criteria.
* Demonstrated brownfield facilities engineering and operations-support experience.
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to work independently, engage cross-functional teams, and drive work forward to meet deadlines and business objectives.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
* Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English, particularly for technical and business communications.
