My experience with @properties started off seemingly standard, but quickly unraveled into confusion, deflection, and a concerning lack of transparency.
After my co-tenant unexpectedly entered rehab and communication from his family became increasingly involved and directive, I was urged to move out of the unit. While I cooperated in good faith, the lease termination process raised a lot of red flags:
I was charged a full three-month termination penalty despite only living in the unit for about two months.
Multiple non-tenants (family members of my former co-tenant) were given access to the unit and participated in the move-out process.
When I asked questions about the property ownership structure — particularly why communication seemed to be coming from people not listed on the lease — I was met with silence or legal pushback.
Mail from the U.S. government was somehow directed to this address in my name, long after I had left, and no one seemed concerned.
When I tried to get clarity from Fulton Grace in connection with @properties, I was met with dismissiveness and eventually legal threats, rather than answers.
If you’re considering renting from them, ask very specific questions about who owns your unit, what happens in the case of emergency or co-tenant departure, and how transparent their process actually is. I wouldn’t wish the confusion and stress I endured on anyone.

I’m so grateful to Lee Smith. He helped me prep and sell my elderly father’s home last April. I was overwhelmed by the situation, especially after having just lost my husband about a year earlier. He handled the transaction beautifully, even with a quirky beginning when another rescinded. He had the home practically sold again before the end of the day.
About six months later, he helped me sell my condo. Again, I was so worn out from everything and I was traveling extensively. He got me more than I thought possible and even helped me sell my furniture.
Today I needed him to help me with a landscaping project that I didn’t feel comfortable negotiating on my own, and he showed up when I needed a big brother.
He’s a gem of a person and I’m so grateful for his support and professionalism.

Understanding that buying/selling a house can be a stressful and difficult process, we were blessed to have known about Jean Hoyle from our Seven Bridges neighborhood, Woodridge, IL. Contacting Jean was the best decision we made. She is easy to talk to and approachable. Jean is a knowledgeable professional and caring individual. She treated us with respect and took the time to listen and understand our needs. Together we were able to create a plan and list our house for sale. Jean kept us informed every step of the way, and we made well educated decisions based on her experience and recommendations. Jean has a team of professionals around her, including stagers and repair people, who can provide support in a quick and efficient manner. She will help you get your property ready and make the most of market trends. Jean cares about your property as if it was her own. She follows up with you and shares information she gathers. She belongs to a strong and effective network of trusted realtors that support and care for each other. the broker (Douglas smith) does not understand that people have the right to public photography. he is a real estate broker and part of his job is taking pictures of properties, yet he doesn't understand that other people are allowed to do that as well. he needs to learn what people rights are and that those rights do not just apply to him.
