**Description**
Robert Half is searching for an **Exchange Online Engineer** to support a Tax and Assurance client based in Seattle, WA. This role will focus on designing and managing Exchange Online infrastructure, executing complex email migrations, and ensuring stable and secure mail flow across the organization. Apply today!

**Location:** 100% Remote
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design, implement, and maintain Exchange Online tenant-level architecture within Microsoft 365.
* Configure and manage mail flow, connectors, and hybrid Exchange environments.
* Administer shared mailboxes, distribution lists, and Microsoft 365 Groups.
* Ensure proper configuration and optimization of messaging infrastructure across the tenant.
* Lead and support large-scale Exchange Online tenant migrations and consolidations.
* Manage cross-tenant mail flow coexistence during migration phases.
* Plan and execute cutover and phased migration strategies with minimal business disruption.
* Coordinate with infrastructure, identity, and messaging teams during migration efforts.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex mail flow and messaging delivery issues.
* Perform post-migration cleanup, system optimization, and environment standardization.
* Support high-volume enterprise messaging environments with a focus on reliability and performance.
* Implement best practices for monitoring, governance, and ongoing maintenance.
**Requirements**
* 3-5+ years of experience working within an enterprise email or messaging environment.
* Deep expertise with Microsoft Exchange Online and Microsoft 365 messaging services.
* Hands-on experience implementing and managing Secure Email Gateways, such as: Proofpoint, Mimecast, Barracuda
* Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation, administration, and reporting.
* Experience supporting hybrid Exchange environments.
* Ability to diagnose and resolve complex messaging and mail routing issues.
