### - We require a bachelors degree plus 4 years of experience in data, voice, or converged networking, or a high school diploma/GED plus 8 years of experience in data, voice, or converged networking. - We prefer extensive experience designing and deploying enterprise Cisco Viptela SD-WAN. - We prefer expert knowledge of Cisco ACI fabric architecture, leaf-spine networking, policy design, multi-site environments, contracts, and operational support. - We prefer experience with cloud connectivity and cloud networking, including AWS and Azure. - We prefer experience with automation and programmability, including working with REST APIs and GitHub repositories. - We prefer a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure) certification. - We prefer a Cisco Certified DevNet Professional certification or equivalent automation experience. - We prefer an AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or equivalent cloud certification.

- We lead the development and support of our network infrastructure. - We serve as a technical resource for project planning and problem resolution. - We present reliable, scalable, secure, and cost-effective technical options and solutions to management. - We lead technical teams on assigned projects and collaborate effectively across the organization. - We provide consultative guidance to associates, management, and business units using expertise across multiple technologies. - We advise on network infrastructure matters related to reliability, availability, scalability, security, and recovery. - We evaluate the performance of existing and proposed system components to support technology, operations, and business needs. - We analyze hardware platforms, operating systems, applications, and network components. - We provide insight into new system software, hardware, and network integration. - We implement, upgrade, and support network hardware and software. - We coordinate new technologies across hardware platforms and operating systems that require network communication. - We coordinate network communication and data integration methods for new technologies. - We perform planning and documentation throughout support activities. - We resolve complex technical issues and automate tasks to improve efficiency. - We maintain strong technical expertise and communicate clearly across platforms. - We support Tier 4 escalation and on-call coverage. - We contribute to design, consulting, project support, vision, roadmaps, strategy, implementation, testing, and build-out activities.

The Network Engineer is pivotal in designing, building, and maintaining network architectures, particularly within a Fortinet-focused environment. This role involves provisioning new customer services and ensuring network availability, uptime, and performance to meet the demands of enterprise-level customers.
In addition to these core responsibilities, the Network Engineer will troubleshoot complex customer issues and coordinate with third-party vendors. They will also develop automation and scripting to enhance provisioning and operational efficiency, ensuring that the network infrastructure remains robust and responsive to client needs.
To qualify for the Network Engineer position, candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field, or possess equivalent experience. A minimum of five years in a carrier-grade or Managed Service Provider (MSP) network environment is essential, along with strong hands-on experience with Fortinet technologies.
Preferred qualifications include certifications such as Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP) and familiarity with network automation or scripting. Additionally, experience with routing technologies like OSPF, BGP, and MPLS, as well as a solid understanding of Layer 2 networking, will significantly enhance a candidate's profile.
