**About the Opportunity**
A fast-evolving healthcare innovator operating across Tier 1 and Tier 2 Indian cities, we're redefining critical care delivery through evidence-based protocols, ICU digitization, and high-acuity patient management. Our facilities integrate real-time decision support tools, telemetry monitoring, and multi-specialty rapid response teams --- all anchored by board-certified ICU specialists who drive outcomes in high-stakes, time-sensitive environments. **Role & Responsibilities**
* Lead clinical decision-making for mechanically ventilated, septic, post-op, and poly-trauma patients in Level III ICU settings.
* Direct multidisciplinary care teams --- coordinating with surgeons, intensivists, respiratory therapists, and pharmacists --- to optimize ventilator weaning, hemodynamic stability, and infection control.
* Implement and audit compliance with SSC guidelines, ABCDE bundles, and sepsis 1-hour bundle protocols across shifts.
* Perform advanced procedures: intubation, central line placement, arterial cannulation, and ultrasound-guided thoracentesis/paracentesis.
* Document real-time patient trajectories, escalate deterioration alerts, and lead family counseling for end-of-life and complex prognosis cases.
* Train junior residents and fellows on ICU scoring systems (APACHE II, SOFA), sedation scales, and sepsis resuscitation pathways.
**Skills & Qualifications**
* Must-Have
* DM Critical Care Medicine / DNB Critical Care / FCCM
* ICU protocols: SSC, Surviving Sepsis, ARDSnet, ABCDE bundle
* Procedure proficiency: intubation, central line, arterial line, CVP monitoring
* ICU tech: ventilator management (ARDS, PRVC), hemodynamic monitoring (PiCCO, Swan-Ganz)
* Diagnosis & scoring: SOFA, APACHE II, qSOFA, lactate clearance tracking
* Documentation: EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, or hospital-specific ICU modules)
* Preferred
* Experience with tele-ICU platforms or remote ICU monitoring
* Published work or participation in ICU quality improvement initiatives
* Certification in PALS / ACLS / ATLS / Focused Ultrasound (eFAST)
**Benefits & Culture Highlights**
* Uninterrupted clinical autonomy with embedded decision-support tools and rapid consult access to national ICU experts.
* Quarterly ICU performance dashboards merit-based bonuses tied to patient outcome metrics.
* Annual CME stipend, procedure simulation workshops, and leadership training for ICU team leads.
