As a Customer Service Representative / Estimator, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers while preparing detailed and accurate quotations for metal fabrication projects. You will work closely with customers, sales, production, and purchasing teams to ensure estimates are competitive, accurate, and aligned with customer expectations and production capabilities.This is an on-site position located at our facility in Stuart, Florida.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer ServiceRespond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person in a professional and timely manner.Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.Identify customer requirements and provide appropriate solutions based on project specifications.Communicate project updates, timelines, and order status throughout the production process.Resolve customer concerns promptly while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.Estimating & PricingReview customer drawings, specifications, and requests for quotation (RFQs).Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for materials, labor, processing, and shipping costs.Analyze project requirements to determine feasibility, lead times, and production costs.Collaborate with production, purchasing, and sales teams to obtain pricing and technical information.Monitor material cost fluctuations and recommend pricing adjustments when necessary.Maintain estimation records and update quotation databases.Administrative & Operational SupportEnter and maintain customer information, quotes, orders, and communications within company systems.Assist in improving estimating processes, tools, and software for greater efficiency and accuracy.Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and customer requirements.Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.Support special projects and other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequiredPrevious experience in Customer Service, Estimating, Inside Sales, Project Coordination, or a related role.Strong mathematical and analytical skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational and time-management abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.PreferredExperience in the metal fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or industrial industry.Knowledge of estimating software, ERP systems, or manufacturing-related systems.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Construction Management, or a related field.Skills & CompetenciesCustomer-focused mindsetProblem-solving and critical thinkingStrong attention to detailAccuracy in calculations and pricingAbility to work independently and collaborativelyAdaptability in a fast-paced environmentProfessional communication and relationship-building skillsWhat We OfferCompetitive compensationMonday to Friday, 8:00 AM -- 5:00 PM (Every Other Saturdays, 8:00 AM -- 12:00 PM)Paid time offOpportunities for growth and professional developmentCollaborative and supportive team environmentStable, growing company with long-term career opportunitiesIf you are looking for an opportunity to combine your customer service expertise with estimating and project coordination in a growing manufacturing company, we would love to hear from you.
