We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to design and build modern APIs using a microservices architecture. This role is ideal for developers who enjoy owning services end-to-end, building systems from scratch, and solving complex technical challenges in a distributed, remote environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Design, develop, and implement RESTful APIs using Java and related frameworks
* Build and deploy microservices from the ground up
* Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code with proper testing
* Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for performance and reliability
* Collaborate with technical team members to deliver high-quality API solutions
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
**Qualifications:**
* 4+ years of hands-on Java development experience
* Strong experience with RESTful web services and API development
* Solid understanding of microservices architecture
* Proven debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
**Compensation and Benefits:** The pay rate for this position is between $65.00 and $70.00 per hour. Please note that the final rate may be contingent on experience and other factors.
