I am very happy with the new split A/C unit that was installed today. The technicians, Rob F., Ryan K. and Luke, where very polite, very professional and very neat. Everything was thoroughly explained, and all features were demonstrated. This was scheduled as a 2 day job but was done in 1 day with excellent results. I have used McVay Plumbing for years and am very happy that they have branched out to A/C & Heating as well as Electric. Now, I will use them for all of these needs!

They were there 20 min total to conclude there wasn't access. They then told me there was a $70 fee for being dispatched, which I was not informed about. They were trying to get me to pay the $70 and after arguing about them showing up 4 hours late they finally agreed to $35. I definitely would not recommend them for service. They did not seem concerned about their lack of timeliness at all. Please do yourself a big favor and choose someone else so you don't have to deal with something like this.

It seems he did successfully resolve the problem. Previously the issues started almost immediately after the “rapair”. It’s been 2 days and everything is still working. I am hopeful that getting the sink connected properly will be the last step in getting everything properly done and I can move on. As of 8/29/2022: I am very frustrated, I trusted McVay to know, or at least figure out my issues and they haven’t. I originally contacted McVay at the end of July in regards to my kitchen sink and toilet gurgling loudly and the sump pump in my basement turning on/off and pushing water back up into the toilet and tub. They came out and the technician who came spent maybe 10 minutes in the basement - determined that he would need a master plumber and to get a quote and quickly left. I was working from home and he left before I could ask any questions at all. It seems that nothing was done to confirm that the sump pump was the root cause of my problem - as they repaired that but the issues are STILL HAPPENING. I foolishly trusted that they knew what the issue was and that their solution was the right one. I cannot help but think that if better investigation had been done from the start that the correct resolution would have been done from the beginning. Even if they still had to do the expensive repair along with another one, at least it would have been completed all at one time.
