**Description**
This role is a senior individual contributor position focusing on enterprise network operations across various infrastructures.
Located in Evansville, IN, this contract position requires expertise in application delivery, reliability, and optimization.
The ideal candidate will have experience with network automation, troubleshooting, and cross-functional leadership.
Lead technical operations for network infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments.
Focus on application delivery, ensuring redundancy and optimization.
Reverse-engineer communication paths in undocumented systems to restore service.
Adopt an automation-first mindset with strong documentation practices.
Coordinate with other engineering teams on larger initiatives.
Engage in proactive architecture and automation work, with minimal reactive incident response.
Prioritize time-to-resolution during incidents.
**Key Responsibilities**
Serve as the subject matter expert for network infrastructure.
Develop strategies for application delivery and reliability.
Translate business requests into technical roadmaps.
Evaluate network products to avoid redundant capabilities.
Maintain vendor relationships and stay updated on industry trends.
**Qualifications**
Proven experience in network infrastructure management.
Strong skills in automation using various scripting languages.
Expertise in troubleshooting network issues from application to physical layers.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
