As a **Security Officer Full Time Alarm Response** in **Oakland, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and access-control needs. **What You'll Do:**
* Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and utility operations personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
* Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, parking areas, perimeter boundaries, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
* Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures; document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity as required.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
* Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
**Minimum Requirements:**
* Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
* CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
* Alarm panel experience is preferred.
* Access control and badge experience is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
