**Job Description:**
Our client is looking for Software Engineer to join our team. Our client is looking for someone who thrives on ownership, loves building robust, high-performance systems, and can help us scale our engineering efforts. This hire is crucial for adding more bandwidth to the engineering team.
**What will you be doing?**
Own the complete lifecycle of high-stakes projects - from initial architecture and design to deployment and continuous optimization.
Design, build, and deploy end-to-end features across our stack (Python, Next.js, Node).
Contribute to architectural decisions and the long-term technical direction of the product.
Rebuild core features using the latest technology to improve upon existing solutions.
Uphold engineering excellence through thoughtful code review and testing, shipping to production daily.
**Role requirements**
Up to 4 years of experience in full-stack software engineering, using Python, Next.js, and Node.
**Work experience**
Experience owning features end-to-end, from RFC to deployment.
ex-Founders and/or YC-backed startup (Pre-Seed/Seed) backgrounds
Experience in the supply chain or logistics industry.
**Education**
Degree from a top-tier university (e.g., Top 20).
**Hard skills**
Proficiency in Python, Next.js, and Node.js.
Experience shipping code to production on a daily cadence.
**Soft skills**
Demonstrates high velocity, problem-solving, ownership, and communication skills.
**Miscellaneous**
Must work in-office in San Francisco, 5 days/week.
Willingness to work long hours (e.g., 12+ hour days).
Active GitHub; demonstrated initiative through side projects/Founder experience
