Assistant Construction Manager - Mission Critical & Data Center Projects

They are looking to add an Assistant Construction Manager to support the execution of complex, fast‑paced projects where uptime, safety, precision, and schedule certainty are non‑negotiable.

The Role
You'll support senior Construction and Project leadership across the full lifecycle of mission‑critical construction projects, from pre‑construction planning through commissioning, turnover, and close‑out.
Working closely with Construction Managers, Project Managers, Site Managers, and EPC Program Managers, you'll gain hands‑on experience in environments involving critical power, redundancy, sequencing, and highly coordinated trade execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Support day‑to‑day execution of safety, quality, schedule, and cost control on mission‑critical sites
* Assist with implementation of Project Execution Plans, QA/QC plans, and site‑specific Safety & Health Plans
* Support subcontractor coordination, RFPs, bid packages, pre‑qualification, and contract administration
* Assist with RFIs, submittals, drawing releases, design changes, and change management
* Help coordinate site mobilization/demobilization and logistics in live or high‑security environments
* Support cost reporting, schedule tracking, earned value, and cash‑flow analysis
* Assist with commissioning support, turnover documentation, warranties, and close‑out activities
* Collaborate with Superintendents and Site Managers to ensure subcontractor compliance with strict safety, quality, and schedule requirements
* Support materials management, equipment coordination, and inventory control
* Help analyze labor productivity, crew rates, unit rates, and labor burdens specific to mission‑critical delivery
* Assist with onboarding and coordination of field supervision and craft labor
What We're Looking For
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
* 3+ years of construction or project delivery experience
* Exposure to data centers, critical facilities, industrial, power, or technical infrastructure is strongly preferred
* Strong organizational skills and ability to work in fast‑paced, schedule‑driven environments
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with scheduling, cost control, or construction management software preferred
* Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail
* Basic understanding of construction cost controls and GAAP fundamentals
* Willingness to be site‑based as required by project demands
