### Must have:

### - Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent work experience - Over 7 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst in enterprise data settings - Demonstrated proficiency in programming languages, specifically SQL and Python for data validation, profiling, reconciliation, and analysis - Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, including: - Capability to develop and optimize complex SQL queries - Knowledge of Variant/JSON parsing - Familiarity with schema and staging concepts - Skills in performance analysis and troubleshooting - Experience in Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold data layers) and understanding of data flow mapping across these layers - Proven expertise in API-based data ingestion, including REST APIs and JSON/XML - Ability to interpret API documentation and create field mappings for Snowflake ingestion - Experience in creating Source-to-Target mapping documents and transformation specifications - Strong grasp of data lineage, metadata traceability, and impact analysis - Competence in drafting Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), mapping documents, and business rule specifications - Effective communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate directly with business stakeholders - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, validate, and refine data and reporting requirements - Convert business needs into detailed functional and technical documentation - Create thorough Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM/STM) documents that capture field-level data logic - Develop comprehensive Business Rules, Data Definitions, and Data Transformation documentation - Conduct thorough data lineage analysis across Snowflake, APIs, upstream sources, and reporting layers - Assist in data modeling and design in accordance with Medallion architecture principles - Perform data profiling, validation, and reconciliation using Snowflake SQL - Engage with REST API data integrations, including working with API specifications, understanding payloads, and mapping to Snowflake tables - Partner with data engineers, ETL/ELT developers, and QA teams to ensure accurate understanding of requirements - Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve data-related discrepancies through iterative testing and validation - Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
